Exclusive Video of Brawl Outside Turkish Embassy Residence

VOA Turkish Service reporters Tezcan Taskıran and Uzeyir Yanar captured unique video of a brawl outside the Turkish Embassy Residence during Turkish President Erdogan’s visit to Washington, D.C..  This video, showing Turkish guards beating protesters, ultimately made headlines in the United States and around the world. The footage eventually served as evidence in several legal cases and convictions stemming from the incident.  VOA’s high quality video was also used by major U.S. and international TV channels, news agencies, and online sites. Among those who used the video are: WUSA9- local CBS affiliate, Daily Mail, CBS National News, news.com.au (Australia), BBC World, CNN Indonesia, ABC National News, RT, Spectee (Japan), Choice News Network, BBC Have Your Say, Eurovision News, Lalibre.be  (Belgium), L’Express.fr (France), Press Association,  The Washington Post, CNBC, Focus Online (Germany), Australian Associated Press, Bild, Ruptly, Storyfull, TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation), CNNTurk, Fox News, and New York Times.
